Stencils Project

This image is my first stencil project. We took pictures outside. Then I got a stencil off the internet of a deer. I picked this stencil because I thought the deer went well with the nature themed pictures we took. The background is colored as it is because I thought it looked like a Christmas sort of color theme, and since deer are associated with Christmas time, I thought that the background complimented the overall theme of  the image well.

This image is my second stencil project. I got various snowboarding pictures off of the internet for this project. I arranged the images so it looked like a snowboarder going off a jump. I chose a snowboard theme because I like to snowboard and I thought it would be cool to do. Finally, I chose the background because I thought it looked good with the different colored snowboarder pictures.

These are my two Avatar projects. For this project I made two superheroes; Batman and Mr. Incredible. I used the paintbrush tool, the transform tool, and the paintbucket tool to complete this project.

Chair Artwork

This is my second chair artwork project. Once again, the tools I used were the transform, warp, and paintbrush tool. Also I used the dodge and burn tools. For the artwork on the chair, I used a picture of fire I had in my folder.

This is the first of two of my chair artwork projects. For this project I used the warp, transform, and paintbrush tools. I placed on the chair one of my past projects, the 15 Green Things project.

Kaleidoscope Effect

This is my kaleidoscope effect project. The original photo is of a school of fish swimming in the sea. I like this picture because it looks like something you'd see in a kaleidoscope I think.

Comic Strip

I worked with Kevin Salazar on this project. We first took pictures around the school, then we uploaded them to the computer. Then we transformed them into cartoon like images by using Photoshop. We then added background images to each panel to give the comic the right setting for the story. Finally, we added the word bubbles to complete the comic strip.

Visual Puns

In each of these images, I used the magic wand, quick selection and eraser tool. I chose these examples because they both have completely different pictures that combine to make a new thing/word.

Filtered Self-Portrait

In this image, I used many filters. They include: plastic wrap, solarize, glowing edges, wave, colored pencil, chrome, charcoal, ocean ripple and film grain. I like the way the project turned out because the images seem to blend well with the background, and each of the images has a cool effect.

Negative Space/ All About You Sillouhette

These are my two images that I created for this project. For this project, I used the magic wand, quick selection, paint bucket and clone stamp tools. In the images, I created an outline of a myself in one and a dog in the other, and I put words that described both in each of the images.

Crazy Combos

In this image, i made an undersea fish from multiple characters in the movie Finding Nemo. It's a combination of a sea turtle, clown fish, and blue tang fish. For this project, I used the magic wand and quick selection tools. I also used the smudge tool and the transform tool. I worked by myself on this project. If I did this project again, I would probably change the background to something brighter and different from a sea landscape. That would be the only thing I would change.

15 Green Things

In this project, I made a sort of collage that included many different images that I changed into different shades, hues, brightnesses and saturations of the color green. The different tools that I used in this project included the magic wand tool and I adjusted the images through the "image" and "filter" options on the taskbar. I thought that this project was easier than other projects I've done because it didn't require the use of alot of tools or options in Photoshop. What I tried to accomplish in this image was putting the pictures with more brightness near the top, and the ones with less brightness on the bottom. Also, I put the images that were related to transportation and cars on the bottom of the image, and i put the images related to people and nature near the top.
